Full Path Halo - fighting done FAST
I've not mentioned the guys at highspeedhalo.net for some time (my bad), but in taking a look this morning, it seems that not only have they continued to churn out great speedruns, but they've also started a very interesting project called Full Path Halo. The basic idea is to speedrun a level, WHILE defeating all the enemies. These speedruns will force a player to know the campaign map extremely well, while also demanding a very high level of gameplay skill. I can't wait for these. :) Stop by highspeedhalo.net for all the details.

Yeah, having more fighting was the real motivation behind the project. Having speedruns based on how well you can grenade jump was getting very boring, so more fighting will make for much more entertaining viewing. :)
Well, we don't have to kill EVERYTHING, we just removed a lot of the tricky portions out of it.
I suggested the killing EVERYTHING project, but it never rolled anywhere. Mostly when we thought about The Library and Two Betrayals ._.;
The Maw wouldnt be fun either, considering the reactor room has infinite enemies.
Oh.. so you don't have to kill everything. Maybe I don't hate this project anymore.

You just keep fighting until the enemies disappear, duh! :P
PoA, Halo, T&R, SC and AotCR are SO fun for killing everything. I know that sounds sadistic, but seriously now.

And once the flood enter the picture it becomes unfun... as in the last five levels...

or when the game overloads and load zones get crazy and..
The good news about "All Kills" is, is that there is infact an alternative to killing everything on a certain level. You can also eliminate everything within certain areas. So for instance, instead of eliminating everything on Two Betrayals, you could eliminate everything on the suspension bridges, or in the final area where you pick up your banshee. Hehe, I love how off topic this is. HSH wins.
